October may be the month of pumpkins, falling leaves, and Halloween but here at Kraft, it was about something even more special – Employee Ownership Month (EOM)! This month-long celebration is our chance to recognize the many accomplishments of our employee owners. Of course we do it with games, prizes, and food…lots of food!
We launched EOM with goodie bags for everyone and an invite to our ESOP-themed breakfast. Can you guess what was on the menu? Of course it was a spread of Eggs, Sausage, OJ, and Pancakes – for ESOP! Our leadership team got in early to cook and serve everyone a delicious meal to start the day.
All month long, we kept the fun going with office challenges. Our ESOP Letter Guessing Game was a hit! Each week, acrylic ESOP letters were filled with different items and the team had to guess how many were in each. We won’t lie – waiting until the end of the month to break open the S and the O was tough!

On Halloween, we hosted our annual chili cookoff, which brings out the competitiveness in all of us. After carefully tasting and voting, we crowned the following winners who now have bragging rights for the next year:

2nd – Bob Davis
3rd – Erik Keenan
Another highlight each October is presenting our Employee Tenure Awards! This year, we recognized over a dozen members of our team who have made incredible contributions to the organization during their time with Kraft. Our ceremony was followed by a delicious lunch from the Betty’s Bomb Ass Burgers food truck.
